I was inspired by this image from other card makers a month or so ago and after some research found it was a freebie from Gecko Galz. My image was die cut using Taylored Expressions Arched Stacklets. After die cutting, I made several frames in black shimmer cardstock to frame the image. A piece of marbled carstock jumped out at me which I embossed with SimonSaysStamps Floral Field embossing folder. I swiped ivory pigment ink over the raised florals to make them pop a bit. Gina K Designs Fresh Cut Flowers dies were used for my flower and sentiment strip is also from SSS. I always seem to need a pop of color so added the tiny pink heart to the center of my die cut flower. To me the focal image reminds me of birds more than ghosts so I called them my Ghost Birds.
My card today will be shared with:

I agree that the ghosts look like birds. Lovely card! Adding the flower was a nice touch.
Thanks, Lisa.. I saw birds immediately but then wasn’t too sure.
I LOVE this!! How could anyone not love those cute little ghost birds??? The flower with a little pink is a great touch.
Thanks Gerry, I was pretty happy the way this one turned out. I’ve been having a lot of fun making Halloween this year.
This immediately caught my eye and I think it is a brilliant and clever card. Those ghost birds are perfect. You outdid yourself with this one, Gayle.
Thanks, Johanna, the focal image is great.
This is a great card. I love the look of it and those ghostly birds are wonderful.
