Snow Buddies

It’s cold, it’s snowing, it’s cold and it’s going to snow again which will make the third round. We seem to be a repeat mode but not nearly as brutal as some parts of the states which inspired me to include some snow buddies on my card. The background was embossed with a Cutlebug snowflake embossing folder on blue cardstock with white pigment ink swiped over the embossed areas. The Cottage Cutz Peeker Snowmen were die cut and colored but alas they needed something to peek over and I pulled out my much loved Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch which kind of sort of looks like icicles  Then added a sentiment from Hero Arts Color Layering Waves stamp set. I thought that if that font works for sand it should be ok for snow, too!

My card will be shared with:

Can You Handle The Pressure? January 13th 2024 Anything Goes with a Twist of Snow People and of course the required embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care and be safe.

  1. Cute card. The drippy good punch works great for icicles. Our temps got up to 40 today, more cold and probably snow is on the way.

  2. This is a very creative card Gayle. Love the icicles and how you made them. The snow people are adorable. I can relate about the weather. We had a huge dump and some exceptionally cold temperatures here. Today the rain began so the mess is now even more problematic. Hopefully it will wash away soon. The temps are coming up slowly.

  3. This is so CUTE! Love the icicles and I wouldn’t have thought “drippy goo” when looking at the piece. Those snowmen peeking are adorable, too.
