Orange and plaid are definitely signs of the changing seasons and fall should be right around the corner….well maybe not yet but soon.
For my card today, I made my plaid using Taylored Expressions Plaid layering stencil in Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon inks and added a black line with a marker. Simon Says Stamp Large Stitched Maple leaf die is my focal image and the sentiment is from a Gina K Designs Autumn Silhouettes stamp set. Sweet Mango cardstock from GKD was used to complete my Outrageous Orange card. And why make one when you can make two cards.

My card today will be shared with:

Love your combo of plaids and oranges! Great cards!
Thanks, Diana.
Love the plaid. Perfect for both challenges. I like your card!
Thanks so much Lisa.
Both are over the moon for me but the shifted leaf and added bling really makes the second one super duper
Thanks, Bonnie, of course I always think of your when I’m doing a plaid.
Beautiful plaid Gayle. I think I have that same stencil or one like it and I was thinking of pulling out. You’ve inspired me to do more than think. Both cards are beautiful and the big leaf really stands out.
Thanks, Johanna, I kept the leaf white so it wouldn’t get lost in the plaid.

I love that you made your own plaid using your own colors. Great card. The white leaf is perfect for such a color filled background.
