Summertime Memories

As I was deciding on a card for a summer challenge, I found the not yet put away adirondack chair and umbrella dies from Gina K Designs still on my desk and figured it was time to use them. I located an old photo from my two children playing in the sand and surf at the Jersey Shore. That photo became my background. After prepping that photo on a piece of cardstock, I added a clear presentation cover page to my focal page after adding the striped and solid strips. A top folding card base was also added to complete my card with the addition of a sun die cut and a GKD sentiment and shell border. I will be eventually be sending this to one of kids to see how observant they are.

My card today will be shared with:

The Four Seasons Challenge August 2023 Anything Summer Goes

Cardz 4 Galz #205 — A Summer Day

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe, and stay cool.

    1. Thanks, Lisa, I was happy that it worked out even if I do have a lot of layers going on with this card.

  1. What a delightful summer card and how fun to use an actual photo of your children playing at the beach. Looks like a winner to me.

  2. Using a photo of the kids makes the card very personal and special. I love how you jazzed it all up.

  3. Such a great beach scene and so perfect for our challenge at Four Seasons! Thank you so much for joining us this month!
