This card was made for a man named Henry. He is disabled and lives near the ocean and loves boats. I got a lot of help from my family in creating this card.

This began as a completed card from the Paper Pumpkin 2019 On My Mind kit. I wanted the boat to move and after really looking at the completed card, I realized the adhesive was not holding well and could be easily dismantled. I took the entire card apart and all parts remained intact.
My daughter provided the die that the boat is gliding across the waves on. It is from a Llama set. The waves were cut with a Lawn Fawn set. A lot of foam was added to this card. The bottom layer has 3 layers, then the next wave has 2 layers and the boat has one layer. The boat needs to glide across the waves and over the wheel (or whatever it is called). The wheel spins. I has an eyelet under the brad to give height and keep it there for the wheel to spin.
This card fits in a 5 X 7 envelope as it was too tight for the A2 size. We bought a scale that just arrived! It weights 2 oz. so I placed 2 postage stamps on the envelope. It has a Buzz Lightyear stamp and a sailboat stamp from the Mighty Mississippi postage stamp collection. This gentleman is having a lot of hiccups lately so anything to bring a smile to his face will be welcomed.
He is the Tuesday Teacup recipient for this week at Splitcoast Stampers. I love to create cards for this challenge.

All your efforts are well worth while. BG pp make a great jumping off for all your other elements
Thank you!
Great card Lisa! It’s fantastic you were able to get it apart so easily and then remake it. It’s a fun card and a great idea.
Thank you! Dotted adhesive doesn’t seem to hold well, it seems. Glue dots broke away easily. I was thrilled to create it to have movable pieces.
Great card!!! Your take apart and reassemble turned out wonderful. This will surely bring a smile to your friend.
Thank you! I do not know him, but am sure he will enjoy the interactive pieces.
This is wonderful Lisa. Interactive cards are fun but can be challenging to make. disassembling one and recreating it to move is brilliant and the end result is great.
Thank you! Yes, I was nervous about taking it apart, but it wasn’t holding well anyway. It worked out well.
Wonderful interactive card, LIsa, and amazing that you were able to dismantle and reconstruct. So nice of you to make someone’s day very special.
Thank you! It was fun to take the day and create something for someone.
WOW! So creative and looks amazing!
