Strawberries & Cream

The local farms’ strawberries are ready for picking which inspired me to make this card. Taylored Expressions Berry Sweet layering stencil and clear stamp combo was used for my focal panel. Distress Oxide inks was use for my stencling which worked very well on the light pink colored cardstock. The card base which is the same color as the focal panel was stamped using SimonSaysStamp’s Gingham background stamp and the three fussy cut berries and sentiment are Gina K Designs You’re the Sweetest stamp set (still on my desk from 2 cards ago…LOL). A little bit of wink of stella for sparkle, a few enamel dots and the Waffle Flowers Lacy Layers A2 dies complete my card today.

The optional June theme with Stencil Fun is layering stencils. I’ll be sharing my card with:

Crazy is our fame – STENCILS are our game: June STENCIL Fun.

Thanks for stopping in for a peek. I appreciate you and your time. Take care, be safe, stay cool. We enjoyed the beautiful rain yesterday and fingers crossed for more tomorrow.

  1. Sweet card. At first when I saw this I thought you had used patterned paper. Your stenciling is great.

  2. Good enough to eat and I have fresh ones in my refrigerator right now. Love the new fruit at this time of year and your card is mouth wateringly beautiful. The stenciling is so well done, that like the others. I think it looks like patterned paper.

    1. Thanks, Johanna, I enjoy stenciling and it’s an easy background to make. Enjoy your fresh strawberries.

  3. Distress oxide inks were the perfect choice for your stenciling; the colors are so bright and vivid on the pink background. Great summer card design!
