I created this card when I was on the design team for Splitcoast Stampers but never used it or posted it anywhere. It fits the Double D Challenge for Lemon-Ade so I will share it now.

I used Simple Stories Vintage Lemon Twist patterned paper for the background. I used Power Poppy Tea in the Garden stamp set for the focal image and greeting. I used Doily 1 die from The Stamps of Life with Sea Glass Cardstock for the scallops around the lemonade. Inks used are Slate for the greeting and Memento Tuxedo Black for the image that I colored with alcohol markers. This is a 5 X 7 card.

I really like this pack of patterned paper. I have the accompanying stamp set by Simon Says Stamp, now, so I will hopefully create a few cards using these products. I never posted this card because my daughter, who was helping me with photos, said it didn’t really fit the theme I was creating for. I like the card so am thrilled to have an excuse to share it.

I love this one too and sure does fit now. Quite the mixture of layers and creating the look of texture.
So cool that you got the url thing figured out!
I had to leave the site after my post, then come back into it. Maybe my computer remembers too much? I am not sure. But I was paying attention. Thanks for sharing what I did, not realizing it at all.
Thank you! I am thrilled to share this card and hopefully mail it soon.
A beautifully created card and fits our theme perfectly!!
Thank you for joining our challenge at Double D!

Thank you! I have a lot of lemons, paper, and more images waiting to be used. I am not sure I will get to more now, but ideas are flowing.
Lisa this is awesome. The paper and your layers for your lemonade focal point is wonderful. A beautiful vintage vibe for this fun challenge.
Thank you! The theme I was creating for as a DD was Vintage, but my daughter couldn’t see it. I just let it go and made something different. I am glad I kept the card and was able to use it for this challenge.
Definitely a vintage vibe for me.
I agree with Gayle in that this creation has a vintage vibe. Glad you posted it now as it works beautifully for this challenge. I like the doily die cut over that beautiful background.
Thank you! It was geared to a vintage style, which is in the name of the paper. I do like the doily. I rarely use it.
I’m glad our challenge came along so you could share this pretty card, but I think anytime is a good time to share. I love the paper, and the stamp set is one of my Power Poppy favorites. Altogether this card is absolutely perfect. Thank you for joining us at Double D!
Thank you! I do enjoy Power Poppy images.
Very pretty. I agree that it definitely has a vintage vibe to it.
Thank you!
Your stamped image looks amazing, and I love the papers and die panels you paired with it! Pretty card!
Thank you! I love this paper. I have it out hoping to create another card.
This is a fun card, Lisa. I love the pitcher and glass images. Your card makes me think of the deep south and lemonade on a big porch.
It does look like the deep south. I never thought about it. Thanks!
